Summary

I am an artist with 11 years of experience building AAA Multiplayer FPS games. I have strong technical knowledge as well as a good artistic eye. I really enjoy the collaboration within the team to produce the best game possible. I constantly look for ways to improve the way art is added to a game.

Work Experience

Sr. Technical Artist / Sr. Level Artist – Medal of Honor: Warfighter
May 2011 – Present

Built levels using proprietary technology called FrostBite. This includes terrain generation, material creations, shader creation as well as populating the level with buildings, props and vegetation. Specific gameplay assets were created too. Made sure levels fit within performance and memory budgets set for each platform. (PC, Xbox360 and PS3.)

Set up content pipelines, asset hierarchies and best practices for the Level Art department.

I helped troubleshoot issues that would come up from both Art and Design. I worked to solve these together with the Artists and Designers.

Mentored junior artists – helped them get familiar with FrostBite and best practices for creating game assets.

Digital Illusions CE – Stockholm, Sweden

Technical Artist / Level Artist – Battlefield 3 and Battlefield Bad Company 2
January 2007 – May 2011

Developed tools and workflows together with tools programmers for FrostEd 2.
Setup and managed content pipelines, asset management policies and best practices.
Created the prototype city level together with other artists – concentrated mainly on building modular system and building destruction.

Set up workflow/pipeline for importing BC1 levels into BC2. (FrostEd 1 to FrostEd 2)
Updated BC1 level assets with BC2 assets. Improved visuals to match BC2 levels.

Concept Artist / Effects Artist – Battlefield 2142 & Booster Packs
June 2005 – January 2007

Created concepts for the vehicles in 2142. Additional concepts for the soldiers.
Created visual effects for the game and booster packs.

Developed the effects editor and workflow together with programmers.
Created visual effects for the game and booster packs.
Additional work consisted of modeling and texturing of vehicles.
